TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of tuition services by HELPMYGRADES LTD ("the Company") to its clients ("You"). By purchasing tuition services, You agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

1.1. The Company provides tuition services on an hourly or package basis.
1.2. Tuition hours purchased are redeemable at any time, subject to tutor availability and scheduling.
1.3. Tuition sessions are conducted online, as agreed upon at the time of payment.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Advance Payment: Payment must be made in full prior to the scheduling of any tuition session.
2.2. Hourly Rates and Packages:

  • Tuition sessions may be purchased on an hourly basis or as part of a package.

  • Package rates may include a discount compared to the hourly rate.

2.3. Payments can be made via website payments (squarespace), bank transfer, or with cash.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1. Tuition sessions are booked by HelpMyGrades Ltd in accordance with client and tutor availability.
3.2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure sessions are scheduled in advance to secure preferred time slots.
3.3. The Company will confirm all session bookings via email.

 

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1. Cancellation Notice:

  • Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a tuition session without penalty.

4.2. Late Cancellations or No-Shows:

  • If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session or if the client is a no-show:

    • A penalty of 25% of the session fee will be applied if the session is cancelled between 24-48 hours before the session.

    • If the client is a no show a penalty of 75% of the fee will be applied.

    • The remaining % of the fee will be refunded.

4.3. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be given a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Refund Policy

5.1. Hourly Tuition: Refunds for unused hours will be provided upon written request, subject to a £5 administrative fee.
5.2. Packages: Refunds for partially used packages will be prorated based on the hourly rate at the time of purchase, minus a £5 administrative fee.
5.3. No refunds will be granted for expired packages or redeemed hours.

6. Expiry of Tuition Hours

6.1. Hours purchased under the bronze package (5 hours) are valid for 4 weeks from the date of purchase.
6.2. Hours purchased under the silver package (10 hours) are valid for 10 weeks from the date of purchase.

6.3. Hours purchased under the Gold package (20 hours) are valid for 20 weeks from the date of purchase.

6.4. Any unused hours after this period will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

7. Tutor Responsibilities

7.1. Tutors will provide high-quality tuition tailored to the student's needs and agreed learning objectives.
7.2. Tutors are not responsible for guaranteeing specific academic outcomes.
7.3. The Company ensures that all tutors meet qualification and background check requirements.

8. Client Responsibilities

8.1. Clients must ensure the student is prepared and available for the scheduled session.
8.2. Clients must provide a suitable learning environment for in-person or online sessions.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. The Company is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from:

  • Technical issues during online sessions not caused by the Company.

  • Failure by the client to attend a session.

9.2. The Company’s total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected session(s).

10. Data Protection

10.1. The Company complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
10.2. Personal data provided by clients will only be used for the purposes of delivering tuition services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

11. Complaints and Disputes

11.1. Complaints regarding tuition services must be submitted in writing to admin@helpmygrades.co.uk
11.2. The Company endeavours to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
11.3. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments to Terms

12.1. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes in writing.
12.2. Continued use of the Company’s services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

By purchasing tuition services from HELPMYGRADES LTD, you confirm that You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
